What this is
If a weekly report takes someone a day to assemble from exports, it is already out of date when it lands. A reporting dashboard reads from the places your data already lives, such as Tally, Excel files, your CRM or a database, and shows the few numbers you actually decide on, refreshed automatically. We keep these simple on purpose. Power BI and Tableau are fine tools, but many small firms never get past the setup. A focused dashboard built around ten of your numbers gets used.
Who this is for
- Owners and managers who rely on someone to compile monthly or weekly reports
- Sales, operations and finance teams whose numbers sit in different tools
- Businesses that tried Power BI or Google Data Studio and found the setup stalled
- Companies that want a customer or partner view of their own data
What problem this solves
If two or more of these sound familiar, it is worth a conversation.
Reports take a day to build
Exports are cleaned and combined by hand each cycle, and the report is stale before it is read.
Numbers disagree
Sales shows one total and accounts shows another, and a meeting is spent working out why.
No early warning
Overdue payments, falling stock or a slow sales week are noticed late because nobody is watching.
Too many metrics
Generic tools show everything, so the few numbers that matter get lost.
What Nimbryx actually builds
Every one of these is built around how your team already works.
Data connections
Scheduled pulls from Tally exports, Excel or Google Sheets, your CRM, a database or an API.
A cleaned data layer
One place where the numbers are reconciled, so the dashboard and the finance team see the same figures.
KPI dashboards
Sales, receivables, stock, production or whatever you manage by, with filters by date, branch or person.
Alerts
Email or WhatsApp notices when a metric crosses a limit, such as overdue invoices or low stock.
Scheduled report delivery
A PDF or Excel report sent to the right people every Monday morning without anyone building it.
Role-based views
The owner, a branch manager and a salesperson each see the data that concerns them.
How this typically works
From the first conversation to a working system.
Step 1
Decide the ten numbers
We agree which decisions the dashboard supports and which figures drive them, before drawing a chart.
Step 2
Find and fix the data
Locate the source for each figure and resolve the places where two sources disagree.
Step 3
Build the first view
A working dashboard on real data, reviewed with the people who will use it.
Step 4
Add alerts and refine
Scheduled reports, alerts and extra views once the first version is trusted.
The stack we’d likely use
Mature, well-supported tools. The final choice depends on your project, and we explain it before we start.
- Next.js
- Node.js
- Python
- PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Charting libraries
- Scheduled jobs
- PDF and Excel export
An honest note
When this isn't the right call
If your data is clean, sits in one tool and that tool already has good reports, use its reports. If you have a data analyst who is comfortable in Power BI, there is little reason to rebuild what they have. A dashboard cannot fix data that people enter inconsistently. If the source numbers are unreliable, we will say so, and the first job becomes fixing the entry process.
Not sure which side of the line you’re on? Ask us and we’ll say so.
Can the dashboard read from Tally?
Yes, usually through scheduled exports or Tally's XML interface. How fresh the data is depends on how often the export runs, and we agree that during scoping.
Why not just use Power BI?
You can, and for some teams it is the right choice. We build custom when you want a simpler tool for non-technical users, need it embedded in your own software, or want to avoid per-user licences.
How long does a first dashboard take?
A focused dashboard from one or two data sources typically takes 3 to 5 weeks. More sources and reconciliation work add time.
Will it update in real time?
Near real time is possible when the source supports it. Many sources only refresh hourly or daily, and we tell you which applies before you plan around it.
