Tally's inventory is built around accounting entries, not what happens on the floor, and generic modules assume a standard flow. If you need multi-location transfers, batch and expiry tracking, kitting or e-commerce sync, a custom system follows how your stock moves rather than forcing your process into someone else's tool.
Can it sync with our accounting and online store?
Yes, and most of our inventory projects include exactly that. Tally sync handles accounting, while Shopify or WooCommerce sync means online orders reduce warehouse stock automatically.
How long does inventory software take to build?
Figure 6–9 weeks for a single location with barcode intake and reports. Multi-location setups with transfers, a PO workflow and integrations take 12–18 weeks. We send a written estimate once we know your SKU count and locations.
How do we move our existing stock data in?
We handle the migration. Your current spreadsheet or system gets mapped and cleaned, and opening stock for each location is loaded before go-live.
