How we approach wholesale work
A distributor takes orders from dozens of retailers, usually by phone, WhatsApp or a salesman's notebook. Each order is rewritten into a ledger, checked against stock by someone who remembers it, then invoiced and followed up for payment. It works until volume grows or the person who holds it together is away. We build order, stock and receivables software around how your distribution business actually runs, and connect it to Tally or whichever accounting tool you already use.
The problems we see most often
If a few of these sound like your week, a custom system is probably worth a look.
Orders arriving by phone, WhatsApp and salesmen, then retyped into a ledger
Stock promised to a customer that turns out not to be on the shelf
Invoices prepared late, so deliveries and billing drift apart
Outstanding payments tracked in a notebook, with follow-up by memory
Retailers repeatedly phoning to ask where their order is
Price lists that differ by customer and live in several spreadsheets
What we build for wholesale businesses
- Order capture for salesmen on a phone or tablet, and a portal for retailers who want to order themselves
- Stock checks at the time of order, with batch and expiry tracking where relevant
- Customer-wise price lists and scheme handling
- GST invoices and delivery challans generated from the order
- Receivables tracking with scheduled payment reminders
- Reports on sales by product, area and salesman, with an export to Tally
What we've actually built
Real projects in this sector, with the problem and the outcome.
Manufacturing / Warehouse Operations
A manufacturing company with 4 warehouses, Noida
Stock moving between warehouses went invisible for days. Goods marked dispatched from one site wouldn't show as received at the other until a manager picked up the phone to ask. Mis-picks were driving a 6% customer return rate, and the operations head couldn't trace the cause because nobody recorded who picked what. Every count was manual, so investigating a discrepancy meant physically recounting whole bays.

Mis-picks fell from 6% to under 0.8% in the first two months. Transfer discrepancy investigations that used to eat 40 hours a month now take under 5. The Tally sync made the manual entry role unnecessary, and that person moved on to more useful work. The operations head can see stock by location across all four warehouses on one dashboard, without calling anyone.
Fashion / E-commerce
A D2C apparel brand, Delhi
The brand ran Shopify with three inventory plugins that kept drifting out of sync with each other. Returns were handled by hand: after each return was inspected, someone updated stock manually. At around 800 orders a month, the inventory discrepancy rate had hit 8%, and customers were complaining about ordering items that turned out to be out of stock.
Read the case studyOutcome
The inventory discrepancy rate fell from 8% to under 1% within two months. Returns now get processed the same day instead of taking 2–3 days. And dropping the three plugins cut their Shopify app bill by ₹18,000 a year, which was a nice bonus.
