Custom Software Development

Software that follows your process, so your team stops bending the process to fit the software.

Tell us what's not working

What this is

Custom software means we build the application around how your business works, instead of you buying a generic product and reshaping your day to match it. If your process is standard, buy the generic product. It's cheaper and somebody else maintains it. Custom only pays for itself when your process is specific enough that every SaaS tool you've tried needed workarounds, and those workarounds have started costing more than the tool.

Who this is for

  • Businesses running critical operations on Excel sheets, WhatsApp groups and email because nothing off the shelf fits

  • Teams that have hit a SaaS product's plan limits, customisation ceiling or per-seat bill

  • Operations with industry-specific rules (fee structures, compliance steps, approval chains) that generic software can't express

  • Owners who inherited a system from a previous developer and want a straight answer on what's worth keeping

What problem this solves

The SaaS tool almost fits

Almost is the worst outcome. You pay the subscription and still handle the exceptions by hand, so now you're running two systems.

The workaround has become the workflow

The shadow spreadsheet, the WhatsApp group, the "ask Sharma ji, he knows" step. Once that's how work really gets done, the software has already lost.

Reporting needs someone to stitch it together

If the monthly board report eats a full day because the numbers sit in three tools that don't talk, you have a software problem. Telling people to be more disciplined won't fix it.

You pay for features nobody opens

Enterprise plans are priced for modules a mid-size business will never touch, and they still tend to miss the one thing you needed.

What Nimbryx actually builds

Internal business systems

One application for one job, whether that's inventory, dispatch, approvals or scheduling, built properly instead of half-supported by a generic tool.

Dashboards & reporting

Screens built around the numbers your management keeps asking for, pulled from wherever that data lives today.

Workflow & approval systems

Multi-step processes with role-based sign-off, notifications and an audit trail showing who did what.

Business automation

No more retyping and copy-pasting between tools. The system moves the data itself.

Custom CRM & ERP

Sales, operations and inventory software shaped around your real sales cycle or stock flow. Our custom CRM and custom ERP pages below go into more detail.

Integrations & modernisation

Hooking new software into what you already use, like Tally, WhatsApp or Razorpay, or taking over an existing system and fixing it.

How this typically works

01

Discovery

We sit with the people doing the work and map how it really happens, exceptions included, before we propose anything.

02

Written estimate

Fixed scope, timeline and price, in writing, before development starts. The number only moves if the scope does.

03

Build in stages

You see working software at each stage and can push back early. No big reveal at the end.

04

Handoff & support

You get the full source code, documentation and a post-launch support window before you're on your own.

When this isn’t the right call

If your process is genuinely standard, like a normal sales pipeline, simple invoicing or a common HR flow, an established SaaS product will be cheaper and better maintained than anything we'd build for the same money. We'd rather say that on the first call than take a project that a ₹2,000-a-month subscription already solves.

Common questions

How is this different from buying a SaaS product?

SaaS is built for an imaginary average customer and sold to thousands of them. Custom software is built once, for your process. You pay more upfront. After launch there's no per-seat fee, and you're not stuck working around the bits that don't match.

How much does custom software development cost in India?

Most business software projects land between ₹2L and ₹10L. Where you fall depends on how many user roles there are, how many integrations, and how much custom logic sits in the middle. Our custom software cost guide has the detailed ranges.

Can you take over software someone else started?

Sometimes. We read the existing codebase first and tell you honestly whether it's worth continuing or cleaner to rebuild the parts that matter. We don't inherit systems blind.

Will we own the code?

Yes, all of it. On final payment you get the repository, database schema and deployment config. You don't pay us any licence fee after that.
